LINA BECKER GERMANY – a matter of tradition
Lina Becker, who was born in Leipzig in 1889, discovered her passion for tailoring at a young age whilst working in the largest wedding business in Saxony. Here she was laying the foundations of her very own bridal fashion brand which she founded just two years later. Her brand lives on and continues to bear her very own name.
In 2005, Nicole, the wife of Lina Becker’s great-grandson Hagen Lauckner, came to Europe. In 2006, the brand was relaunched as Lina Becker Germany. For two years, Nicole Lauckner and her team worked on their first new collection in 2008.
The style: Tasteful and confident, paying utmost attention to the finest of details and materials. The label quickly regained its footing in the business, and the first collection became an immediate success. The family business has expanded continuously. Six years after the official start of the restored business, the bridal label sold its garments in more than 300 partner stores across Europe. Today, Lina Becker Germany stands for modern design with a twist – setting the history of the label in motion and connecting different generations and continents. Lina Becker’s dream of becoming Germany’s most famous bridal brand continues to inspire Nicole and her team.
